The metal plates arrived today, ahead of schedule. The steel was too heavy,so I went with the 1/4 inch aluminum. It was easy to drill, and seems very capable of supporting the camera. Tonight I assembled the camera for the first time on the tripod, very exiting. At the top of the to-do list are the sagging bellows. I’m going to glue tabs and rings, and run a nylon cord trough, over the top of the bellows and pull it tight. I’m going to use cord locks to keep the cord tight. Thinking about making a couple of film holders before I take the camera out on its’ first shoot.
